i-Heart Barnsley is a Barnsley Healthcare Federation service providing NHS Primary care services to people in Barnsley. Barnsley Healthcare Federation is a partnership of GP practices working with Barnsley ICB and local providers.
I-heart Barnsley offer a wide range of services such as GP appointments, cervical screening and are in a position to offer them during evenings and weekends.

If our appointments for the day are full, the patient co-ordinator will usually advise you to contact I-heart Barnsley for a same day appointment. Their phonelines are open between 4pm and 6pm Monday to Friday. 8am - 9:30am Weekends and Bank Holidays including Christmas, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

NHS - 111 are a great out of hours service offering advice with a clinician and appointments where necessary. NHS 111 can book directly into our appointment book. Please only call NHS 111 if your problem is urgent and cannot wait for a GP service to be available.
NHS 111 is also now available online.
Our phone line (01226 282758) will automatically divert you to NHS 111 when we are closed. Alternatively you can contact them direct by dialling 111 from any landline or mobile. Calls to this service are free of charge.
