PRESCRIPTIONS

Victoria Medical Centre require 48 hours notice for all medication requests. Requests can be made in writing, at reception, over the phone, online via patient access or via AccuRx online triage.

If ordering medication that is not on repeat the receptionist will need to ask what you need it for so they can pass this information onto the GP. The GP may ask that you book an appointment to discuss this further.

Victoria Medical Centre do not take responsibility for reminding patients when their medication is due, it is the patients responsibility to order their prescription  48 hours before they are due to run out. Emergency prescriptions will only be given in absolute emergencies.
